The Senior Security Officer (Armed) is responsible for the performance of all security and safety duties as assigned under the direction of the Security Supervisor. This role involves providing an armed, uniformed security presence throughout St. Joseph’s Health (SJH) campuses, assessing threats, providing immediate response to, and mitigating offenses against public order, life, and safety of colleagues, staff, patients, visitors, and others on and within the buildings and grounds of SJH. The officer will coordinate with law enforcement agencies based on threat assessments and offenses, and will be responsible for thorough reporting of incidents to the Lead Security Officer and other SJH Leadership. The position requires working a night shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, including a weekend and holiday rotation.
