You will have the autonomy to determine the most effective investigative techniques to achieve your objectives, with your caseload assigned by management. Your expertise in this field will be crucial as you navigate complex cases and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues. In this position, you will plan, organize, and conduct intricate investigations into suspected violations of laws and regulations, particularly concerning criminal activities, fraud, and computer crimes. You will develop investigative strategies, conduct interviews with personnel and vendors, and interrogate suspects to gather admissions. Documenting your findings with evidence will be essential to facilitate any necessary criminal or civil procedures. You will maintain a strong liaison with the organization's Law Department and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to maximize the effectiveness of your investigations and support the company's business efforts. Your role will also involve analyzing and evaluating the progress of investigations, reassessing priorities, and establishing connections between suspects and other violators by piecing together evidence from various sources. You will plan and direct surveillance operations as needed, recruit informants, and coordinate investigative activities with law enforcement agencies to resolve jurisdictional issues. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive investigative reports and statistical data, ensuring timely delivery of your findings. Your ability to evaluate the latest products and techniques in communications and technical equipment will be vital in providing advice and consultations for their use in investigations. Overall, your independent judgment and discretion will be crucial in handling significant matters, and you will be expected to maintain regular attendance, including the possibility of working nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary.
