About The Position

The Senior Security Technician at Anistar Technologies is responsible for installing and servicing access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing electronic security systems, ensuring the functionality and usability of security management solutions, and leading a team in the installation process.

Requirements

• Ability to read technical documents, drawings, and prints.
• Good communication skills and the ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with IP-based systems.
• Working knowledge of Honeywell, Bosch, and Axis systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform service/installation of various security management solutions including access control, intrusion alarm, and closed circuit television systems.
• Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, reconfigure, and test equipment and devices associated with security systems.
• Perform upgrades and additions to systems to enhance functionality and usability.
• Conduct computer program entry to add closed circuit television cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems as needed.
• Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects/work orders efficiently.
• Read and understand technical drawings and prints to install equipment correctly.
• Terminate equipment and field devices, verifying operation from the field to reporting systems.
• Lead a team and delegate tasks as needed, demonstrating proper techniques.
• Be willing to do what is required to complete tasks on any given day.
