What We’re Looking For We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Security Engineer to help us build, strengthen, and scale security across our platform and infrastructure. We’ve kept our hiring standards exceptionally high since we expect engineers to tackle a broad range of challenges on a day-to-day basis. Security at Infisical spans everything from application and infrastructure security to secure development practices and compliance, requiring a thoughtful, hands-on approach to protecting systems that developers rely on every day. You’ll work closely with our CTO and the rest of the engineering team to: Own vulnerability management end-to-end while continuously testing and improving the security of our systems (APIs, auth, access control) Build tooling and automation to proactively detect, prevent, and remediate security issues while elevating secure coding practices across the team Support broader security efforts including compliance, certifications, and collaboration with external security researchers

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in application, product, or infrastructure security, with the ability to read and work across modern codebases
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and common security testing practices (e.g. penetration testing, vulnerability scanning)
  • Solid understanding of core security principles, including authentication, access control, and cryptography
  • Must be based in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in security for developer tools, infrastructure, or open source software
  • Contributions to security research, open-source projects, or security tooling
  • Familiarity with bug bounty programs or working with external security communities
