We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain endpoint security solutions that protect the organization’s systems, data, and users. This role is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of endpoint protection technologies, monitoring for security threats, and supporting incident response activities across the enterprise. This position offers a Hybrid work scheduled from the following locations: Dallas, TX, El Segundo, CA, Des Moines, IA and Saint Cloud, MN

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Sr. Security Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field; OR an relevant professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and related security technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint security solutions such as antivirus, antispyware, host intrusion prevention systems, and endpoint privilege management platforms (e.g., Sentinel, CrowdStrike, EPM tools).
  • Understanding security protocols and authentication methods.
  • Experience supporting both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure environments.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac administration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, manage, and maintain endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, firewalls, and intrusion detection and prevention systems.
  • Ensure endpoint security systems are configured and maintained in alignment with industry best practices, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with network, systems, and infrastructure teams to ensure endpoint security solutions are integrated seamlessly into the organization’s overall security architecture.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new endpoint security technologies and tools to enhance the organization’s security posture.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for end users, including password management, email security, and the use of portable and mobile devices.
  • Participate in security incident response activities, including investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident analysis.
  • Develop, track, and report enterprise-level metrics related to endpoint security controls and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for endpoint security systems, processes, and configurations.
  • Stay informed of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and proactively address risks.
  • Communicate security risks and concerns to management and provide recommendations for remediation.
