This position is for a Senior Security Engineer with a concentration on data loss prevention. The right candidate will have the ability to serve in a technical lead role, provide technical project management/oversight, and provide hands-on support at an SME level within areas of focus. The role involves providing lead support and technical guidance as well as supporting DLP initiatives from the conceptual phase to operationalization, as well as supporting troubleshooting initiatives, root cause analysis, and solution maturation, which will be key success factors.   • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to a team of cyber engineers supporting technologies within the area of focus.
  • Provide technical guidance to DLP solutions and projects.
  • Evaluate technical solutions in response to business challenges.
  • Provide thought leadership in support of continuous improvements and service maturation.
  • Present technical solutions as needed for knowledge sharing and acceptance.
  • Provide project support and status reporting.
  • Establish and maintain system documentation.
  • Represent changes via CAB meetings.
  • Collaborate with partnering teams in support of solution development and deployment.
  • Minimum (5) years' experience in Security Engineering with a concentration on DLP.
  • Minimum (5) years' experience with system design, administration, and security.
  • Proficient and professional verbal and written communication, including group training.
  • Practical understanding of machine learning and automation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders.
  • Minimum (7) years' experience with DLP design, administration, and security.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Proofpoint, Palo Alto, and MS Purview DLP.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEIM/SOAR technologies.
  • Knowledge of Navy Federal Credit Union instructions, standards, and procedures.
  • Active CISSP Certification.
