The Cyber Data Loss Prevention (DLP) team at Freddie Mac has an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to bring their passion and relevant background to support the mission of protecting Freddie Mac data. Our Impact: Our team is responsible for: Continuously increasing DLP inspection and monitoring/response coverage across the organization Defining metrics and supporting reporting needs across the organization Addressing risks that apply to our process Your Impact: Define new and enhance existing policies/rules to continuously increase DLP program coverage via multiple detection technologies in accordance with established process Provide creative solutions to support the maintenance and advancement of an effective DLP program (from process and technology standpoints) Build, develop, and maintain relationships with internal and external partners and vendors to formulate DLP solutions for Freddie Mac Define metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency of the program and support reporting needs across the organization Support DLP team members in daily operations Partner with required stakeholders to remediate DLP design, process, and technology gaps Engage with risk functions across the organization and Internal Audit to represent and support the DLP team when required

Requirements

  • 5+ years of DLP and/or Information Security experience
  • DLP policy/rule configuration experience in various tools
  • Must be able to present structured and ad hoc presentations to various audiences (business, technical and management)
  • Experience working with Splunk
  • Ability to adapt, work in and thrive in a frequently changing environment
  • Experience in leading and providing guidance to team members

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications relevant to the Cyber Security industry (desired)
