About The Position
Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities. We help Google Data Centers Product Design teams and Operation teams to securely design, deploy and maintain operational technology (OT) products and architectures. We do this by recommending secure engineering practices in the operational OT and industrial control systems (ICS) space to avoid the introduction of vulnerabilities and security design flaws, and by increasing the security of devices.
