The Sr. Security Analyst is integral to protecting sensitvie data/systems by developing creative solutions to the company's security monitoring and automation needs. As a Senior Security Analyst at MPOWERHealth, you'll use your expertise in systems architeture, scripting, and automation to strengthen our security posture, adress emerging threats, and support compliance efforts. You'll contribute to planning, building, or adapting systems to meet the performance and security requirements.

  • Plan, implement, and monitor security solutions for networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
  • Adapt existing security solutions to fit company objectives.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor systems for monitoring, data visibility, and security reporting.
  • Create and deploy tools to find vulnerabilities, manage risks, and identify security events, and automate resolutions to found issues.
  • Support Security Operations team with identification, containment, remediation, and analysis of security incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security technologies policies, and processes.
  • Assist regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements to proactively address risks.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of security awareness across the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to information security or equivalent professional experience, including:
  • 3 years of IT security experience.
  • 5-7 years of general IT experience
  • 3-5 years of programming, scripting, and automation experience.
  • Proficient in Javascript, Python, shell scripting, and additional programming/scripting languages.
  • Demonstrated experience with API integrations (RestAPI, GraphAPI, etc.).
  • Proven ability to create data visualizations and reports for large datasets, utilizing tools such as:
  • Elasticsearch
  • SQL
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Comprehensive IT knowledge encompassing networking and systems administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of conveying complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional documentation capabilities including experience preparing formal reports.
  • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Defender, Purview, and Sentinel is highly desirable.
  • Practical experience operating security tools, including (but not limited to) SIEM, IDS/IPS, MDR/EDR, and vulnerability scanning solutions.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
