About The Position

Senior Security Adviser Governance & US Integration Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Security Adviser Governance & US Integration to join the Global Security team in Seattle, WA; Arlington, VA or Mesa, AZ. We are looking to hire a governance and US integration focal to join the Global Security Services team. The role will require you to act as the primary focal for US liaison, crisis management coordination and governance, as well as support to Boeing Defense Systems (BDS) events/activities in international locations. Liaison with US-based business partners and Boeing Enterprise Security functional leads is a key aspect to this role. The Boeing Global Security team operates beyond the US, directing critical safety, security, and resilience requirements, to enable global business through smart risk mitigations whilst ensuring essential compliance. The team supports over 70 countries.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience obtained from a variety of security and fire protection roles
  • Experience managing multiple tasks while functioning in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience training others in security activities
  • Experience using common IT programs and can demonstrate technical proficiency
  • Experience briefing senior leaders on security related matters
  • Ability and willingness to work across time zones
  • This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison with US-based functions (e.g. Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), Exec Protection, Security & Fire Protection (S&FP Ops), and BDS) and business unit/partner focals (e.g. Exec Flight Ops, Boeing Health Services, Customer Relations, Field Service Representatives, BDS, Boeing Commercial (BCA) and Boeing Global Services (BGS))
  • Coordinate crisis management working group activities for events outside the US, maintain associated documentation and coordinate related testing/exercises
  • Support (BDS) activities in non-US locations including operational demonstrations and sales campaigns
  • Maintain and review documentation and command media associated with RAA e.g. situational awareness updates, crisis standards and SOPs
  • Conduct governance activities in line with the Global Security management system
  • Act as a training focal for designated subject areas
