We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior SEC Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for supporting technical accounting assessments, preparing external financial filings (10-Q, 10-K), and contributing to the development and maintenance of accounting policies and memos. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, public company environment and has a passion for tackling complex accounting issues. This role reports to the Director, Technical Accounting & Reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
  • 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting and/or public company technical accounting/reporting experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Proven experience drafting technical accounting memos and interpreting accounting guidance
  • Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively across teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in SaaS or technology industry
  • Experience with Active Disclosure, Workiva, NetSuite, or similar tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with SOX 404 compliance and internal control documentation
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret new U.S. GAAP accounting standards and assess their impact on the company’s financial statements.
  • Draft technical accounting position papers for complex transactions (e.g., stock-based compensation, acquisitions, leases, debt/equity).
  • Prepare the Statement of Cash Flows and the computation of EPS.
  • Participate in the month end close process by preparing the calculation for SBC expenses, leases, ESPP purchases and recording the entries.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, earnings releases, and other investor communications.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to support quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
  • Maintain and update internal accounting policies and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Business Operations on non-routine transactions and new initiatives.
  • Support accounting due diligence and purchase price allocation (PPA) for acquisitions.
  • Assist with XBRL tagging and related compliance processes.
