  • Provide technical support and leadership for onshore/offshore activities for more complex systems pertaining to Subsea Drilling equipment and related engineering tooling.
  • Provide engineering support for all new quotes and CTRs (Cost, Time and Resources)/support services quotes group.
  • Responsible for field installation support of Subsea Drilling Engineering related Equipment, technical documentation, product design review and validation, technical planning, customer interface, project execution, product and system troubleshooting, performance testing, product maintenance, and repair and refurbishment.
  • Translate customer requirements into product specific specifications.
  • Identify technology/product gaps in specifications.
  • Responsible for safe, high quality, high quantity and on-time-delivery of assigned project deliverables assigned by project leaders and managers.
  • Attend internal and external meetings and serve as TechnipFMC technical focal point for multiple projects.
  • Anticipates potential problem and identifies and proposes required preventive actions.
  • Research and provide technical disposition relating to field non-conformances for service notifications and service alerts.
  • Approves conclusion/resolutions for service notifications and service alerts.
  • Review/Approve rig books and all associated installation documents.
  • Provide interface resolution between TechnipFMC and non-TechnipFMC equipment.
  • Ensure regional alignment with other projects.
  • Hosting and/or attending technical readiness reviews for on or off-site execution of work (Operations Readiness Reviews - ORR) for assigned projects.
  • Hosting and/or attending after action reviews for on or off-site execution of work (After Action Reviews - AAR) for assigned projects.
  • Identify the need for specialty equipment needed to support customer operations related to services engineering.
  • Ensure cooperation and interaction across diverse stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization, often managing familiar and less challenging customers.
  • Frequent interface with internal and external project stakeholders identifying/clarifying technical scope and problem solving.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior SDS Installation Engineer-related occupation.
  • Experience with engineering standards such as API 17D, API 6A, API 17G, API 5DP and design guidelines, assembly procedures and maintenance documentation.
  • Experience in drilling equipment and tools including Conductor Housings, Wellhead Housings, Casing Hangers, Submudline Equipment, Annulus Seal assemblies, Gas Mats, Bore Protectors, Wear Bushings, Lock Down Bushings and all related Running tools for open water in-riser installations and drilling/running operations.
  • Experience with drilling related tools including Drill Ahead Tool, Casing Hanger Running Tools, Conductor Housing Running Tools, Annulus Seal Assembly Running Tools to operate Subsea Wellhead equipment.
  • Experience with supporting installation such as offshore on-call support and troubleshooting.
