GUARD is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join our IT Organization to support our agile transformation. As part of our Project Management Office, the Senior Scrum Master will coach and support agile teams, drive continuous improvement, and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Requirements

Certified Scrum Master with 5+ years of experience in an agile environment
Demonstrated experience leading teams through an agile transformation
Strong understanding of Kanban, Scrum or other agile frameworks
Experience coaching and mentoring agile teams and stakeholders with various levels of agile experience
Background with IT delivery, software development or business process transformation
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Monday.com, Azure DevOps, PowerBI
Experience building and delivering training materials

Responsibilities

Provide direct coaching and hands on support to our agile delivery teams, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and testers
Lead by example agile values, transparency and adaptability
Remove obstacles to team progress and keep teams focused on delivery
Facilitate agile ceremonies and leverage tools like Azure DevOps for planning and reporting
Drive continuous improvement by coaching teams on agile best practices and fostering a collaborative and trusting environment through observation, feedback and continuous learning
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and QAs to ensure clear understanding of process, work and priorities
Proactively identify training opportunities and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring of teams to improve collaboration, self management and engagement
Prepare and maintain organizational wide agile materials and documentation
