About The Position

Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Scrum Master to serve our diverse base of global clients. Requirements

• Total experience 10+ years
• 5 + years of experience as scrum master
• Agile certified (SAFE, PMI ACP etc)
• Expertise in JIRA, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint
• 3 + years of experience in scrum master in BFS domain
• SAFe Agile, Scrum, XP, Kanban, LeSS, Nexus, Waterfall & Hybrid project methodologies

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Jest
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Project, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, Excel, Word)

Responsibilities

• Scrum Master Managing up to 3 PODs
• Experience working with product owners/product managers
• Prepare and Facilitate PI Planning activities for the POD including, Facilitate Breakout Sessions, Draft and Create PI Plans
• Manage Agile Ceremonies, Iteration Planning, Team Sync, Retrospective, Backlog Refinement
• Resolve Impediments, Ensure Transparency in reporting in risks and issues in JIRA and other forums
• Manage and work to improving POD velocity, predictability, capacity planning and improvements in flow
