About The Position

The Senior Scrum Master at Fidelity Investments will leverage extensive scrum expertise to mentor and coach teams in agile practices, facilitating performance improvements and value delivery. This role involves maintaining backlogs, removing impediments, and leading agile events while collaborating with the Squad Leader and managing interdependencies across teams. The position is integral to enhancing team performance through metrics and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the innovative environment of Fidelity Digital Assets.

Requirements

• 4 years of hands-on experience as a scrum master.
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile/Scrum principles to accelerate value delivery.
• Excellent communication and people-interaction skills.
• Ability to build trust and positively influence others at all levels of the organization.
• Proven change agent capable of coaching and mentoring agile practices.
• Effective facilitator who can partner with teams to generate solutions.
• Intellectual curiosity and passion for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Advise, mentor, coach, and train teams on agile values, practices, and processes.
• Maintain a backlog and help remove impediments to facilitate team performance.
• Facilitate agile events such as daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Manage interdependencies across teams during scaling activities.
• Examine and improve team performance through metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
