About The Position
Corning is seeking a Scientist/Engineer responsible for modeling new processes and/or process conditions to improve product attributes or reduce costs for display glass and/or ceramic substrates and filters. The candidate is expected to develop novel modeling/analytical tools or utilize existing tools to gain a fundamental understanding of underlying principles. A strong foundation in solid mechanics and a high level of expertise in numerical modeling are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with globally distributed researchers, engineers in commercial organizations, and customers.
