Vir Biotechnology is looking for a Senior Scientist I to lead development of bioassays to interrogate the mechanism of action for T Cell engagers and other biologic therapeutics. You will design and execute cell-based activity, target binding, and reporter gene assays for characterization testing in support of product, process and formulation development, and comparability and structure-activity relationship studies. You will develop new methods, optimize, and qualify a selection of methods according to regulatory and phase appropriate requirements. You will design and conduct laboratory experiments, author protocols/reports, and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for bioassays on cross-functional teams. This role is located in our San Francisco headquarters with an expectation of 4 days per week in office. You will report to the Director of Analytical Development Bioassays.
