About The Position

This Senior Scientist position is for a computationally minded individual with a strong understanding of biology and drug development, to work within the Global Nonclinical and Scientific Documentation (GNSD) group. GNSD partners with nonclinical scientists across pharmacology, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK), bioanalysis (BA), and toxicology to assist in the preparation, generation, and review of nonclinical study reports and global regulatory-facing documents. GNSD is an essential component for all drug development programs within the BMS pipeline, from candidate nomination to global approval, across all therapeutic areas and modalities. In support of our remit, we are seeking a talented individual with a strong background in both nonclinical regulatory submissions (in support of pharmacology, DMPK, BA and toxicology SME’s) and large language models (LLMs), and software solutions. This individual will be responsible for bridging our current ways of working with the future of document generation — supporting today's nonclinical documentation needs while actively leading the transformation toward next-generation, AI-driven workflows. The role will apply modern AI to the creation of high-quality summary documents for inclusion in submissions to global health authorities. The individual will work as support for nonclincial SME’s on drug development programs and closely with internal research informatics partners to optimize and support internally built BMS tools. They will thoughtfully integrate best-in-class solutions into existing workflows while driving adoption across the organization. The ideal candidate is project-focused, organized, communicative, and fluent across both life and computational sciences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the center of BMS's mission to rewire and modernize the drug development process, as we bring novel therapeutics to patients
