As a Senior Scientist/Associate Principal Scientist, you will provide technical leadership across global laboratory operations, driving innovation, harmonization, and continuous improvement in ligand binding assay development and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in ligand binding assay techniques and instrumentation.
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Expertise in ligand binding assay techniques.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in scientific documentation, SOP development, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with LEAN Six Sigma principles and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading cross-functional laboratory initiatives to improve operational efficiency and harmonize global processes.
• Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support for complex ligand binding assay challenges.
• Overseeing method transfers between global and cross-functional laboratories.
• Serving as the primary technical contact in client discussions and project planning.
• Driving instrumentation evaluation and implementation, including cost and performance analysis.
• Leading CAPA investigations and ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
• Supporting training and development initiatives for laboratory staff.
• Contributing to SOP development, regulatory compliance, and technical report writing.
