Ads is one of the fastest growing lines of businesses at Uber. Every day thousands of advertisers use our Advertising platform to reach users on the Uber platform to help grow their businesses. The Uber Ads & Offers team builds consumer products that connect our eaters and riders to relevant businesses in engaging and delightful ways. We also build tools to help merchants, large and small, generate demand via Ads and Offers to grow their businesses. As a Sr. Scientist on the Ads Surfaces team, you will guide how ads are integrated into a myriad of different surfaces across Uber Rides and Eats. You will be a thought partner for a wide breadth of topics ranging from optimization of existing ad formats to ideation and implementation of entirely new ones to interactions between ads and non-ad products. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role where you'll combine technical expertise with product intuition to shape key pillars of Uber's ads strategy. We're seeking an experienced scientist with strong analytical acumen, technical depth, and a passion for solving complex, real-world problems.
