About The Position
The Senior Scientific Advisor acts as a strategic partner alongside Commercial and R&D teams, as well as medical and scientific partners, to engage with both external and internal stakeholders. This role is pivotal in leading the relationship management and communication of medical and scientific information with healthcare providers, payers, and other medically-focused customers, including regulators and institutional leaders, ensuring compliance with required regulatory standards. The advisor provides essential medical and scientific advice to support the appropriate use of the organization’s products and services, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of the organization’s offerings in the healthcare market. In addition to relationship management, the Senior Scientific Advisor is responsible for developing and influencing local medical affairs initiatives that align with the organization’s products and the needs of patients. This includes supporting medical and scientific advisory boards and expert meetings, delivering scientific training to cross-functional teams on the organization’s products, and providing valuable input to maximize the development and value of these products. The role requires a deep understanding of the medical landscape and the ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively to various stakeholders.
