Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems
  • Familiarity with reading and evaluating parts lists for production work and working within a production planning system
  • Proven ability to work with multiple organizational levels and customer bases
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, 365

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to maintain a controlled flow of approved materials aligned with production and customer schedules
  • Monitor and update the status of assemblies in progress, asses material availability, and identify potential production challenges impacting schedules
  • Resolve production issues to ensure the availability of personnel, equipment, materials, and services
  • Manage and analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) of moderate complexity within the MRP system
  • Confirm material supply and demand; prepare necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements.
  • Summarize inventory shortage impacts for assemblies and end items released to the production floor.
  • Providing weekly "can-build" and constraint reports during Line of Balance meetings
  • Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering teams
  • Schedule and expedite the movement of parts using move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests
  • Interface with internal customers, including Value Stream Managers (VSMs), Value Stream Leads (VSLs), Manufacturing Engineers (MEs), Industrial Engineers (IEs), Quality Assurance, Work in Progress (WIP) managers, logistics, traffic, and DCMA representatives
