Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and track project budgets.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to gather and analyze schedule-related information.
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues.
  • Perform critical path analysis and risk assessments to ensure project timelines are realistic and achievable.
  • Generate and distribute regular schedule updates and progress reports to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct schedule impact analyses for proposed changes and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior schedulers, fostering their professional development.
  • Implement and maintain scheduling best practices and standards across the organization.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide expert scheduling insights and recommendations.
  • Identify and analyse potential risks that may impact project deliverables, timelines, or budgets.
  • Research local, national and internal delivery times.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor their implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in project scheduling.
  • Advanced proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of scheduling techniques and critical path method (CPM).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex information.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and deadlines.
