About The Position

Join the NASA CPSS team at Glenn Research Center as a Senior Scheduler. This position is located in Cleveland, OH. Your future duties and responsibilities: The role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating project schedules and related project management artifacts in support of Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) projects, including GRC (TTT), Subsonic Vehicle Technology & Tools (SVTT), and other assigned initiatives. This position provides schedule analysis, reporting, configuration support, and engagement across NASA scheduling communities to ensure high-quality program execution Project Scheduling & Analysis Develop and maintain official project schedules for GRC (TTT), SVTT, and other ARMD projects. Produce “what-if” schedule analyses to support project managers in evaluating alternatives and decision-making. Maintain a comprehensive milestone and deliverables registry to ensure timely tracking and reporting. Provide weekly project calendar updates to maintain visibility of near-term activities. Deliver scheduling support for developing and maintaining project-level, milestone, and engineering/test effort schedules. Create and manage schedule information-gathering tools (PDF, Excel, etc.) to capture updates from project team members. Coordination & Leadership Coordinate project schedules as a member of the ARMD Program/Project scheduling team. Provide leadership for scheduling activities within the Project Reports function. Support project team meetings by providing schedule insights, updates, and impacts. Records & Configuration Management Maintain an archival and retrieval system for Aeronautics project records in accordance with NASA Records Management guidelines. Assist in implementing configuration and risk management practices across supported projects. Compliance & Expertise Provide integrated scheduling expertise aligned with NPR 7120.5 (NASA Space Flight Program and Project Management Handbook), NPR 7120.8 (Research and Technology Program and Project Management Requirements), and related Program/Project Scheduling handbooks.

Requirements

  • Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis and schedule health analysis.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with implementation and management of integrated scheduling tools.
  • Basic understanding of EIA-748 standard earned value management (EVM) principles

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Milestones Professional and schedule risk tools (Full Monte, Acumen Fuse, etc.) desired.
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Prior NASA/aerospace experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials preferred.
  • Membership with PMI or the College of Performance Management (CPM) is a plus.
