This is a REMOTE opportunity. You will report to the Program Manager. You will be responsible for all project controls activities for moderate to high complexity project, a portfolio of low complexity projects, or for a subset of high complexity programs scope. Lead teams through all phases of a moderate complexity project. You will be a project controls SME focusing on project scheduling. Must have advanced skills in communication, cross-cultural awareness and leadership. Primavera scheduling experience required. You will coordinate required tasks/deadlines. Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management Initiate and plan all controls aspects of a project, which include, but do not limit project baselines and risk registers. Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that you reduce inefficiencies, and optimize overall project performance. Apply schedule, cost, and risk analytics to confirm validity of plan You will be a lead in schedules, costs, and risk activities. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements to departments. Process subsequent changes following an integrated change control process Review project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope Promote teamwork and, which includes maintenance and distribution of project metrics to ensure team, customer, and all your team are kept informed of project status Develop or oversee project databases and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members Communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance for future work Integrate project's goals and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern Identify, assess, and implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve overall project performance Create and administer lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Construction Management or related technical discipline
  • 6-12 years project controls/scheduling experience in the position functional/technical area
  • Primavera scheduling experience required.
