About The Position

Noble Hearts HR Consulting (NHHRC) is recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to support large, complex infrastructure and transit programs. This role is responsible for the review and analysis of contractor schedules, oversight of schedule management activities, development of what-if scenarios, and delivery of weekly and monthly schedule reporting. The Senior Scheduler works within the Project Controls Office and plays a critical role in ensuring schedule accuracy, reliability, and risk visibility across design and construction phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant scheduling and project controls experience
  • Proven experience developing and managing construction schedules from preliminary or conceptual plans
  • Strong understanding of rail and roadway transportation projects and disciplines
  • Ability to identify, document, and communicate schedule risks clearly and effectively
  • Proficiency with scheduling and reporting tools, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing detailed construction schedules and documenting the basis of schedule development
  • Knowledge of construction means and methods, staging, and procurements
  • Experience supporting rail systems, tunnels, bridges, retaining walls, and related infrastructure
  • Experience performing schedule risk assessments and reliability analysis

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and oversee contractor schedules to ensure alignment with program requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated schedules for large infrastructure programs
  • Correlate schedule activities with design plans to reflect accurate construction sequencing and durations
  • Update schedule data as design progresses, documenting the basis of durations and assumptions
  • Perform what-if analysis and scenario planning to assess schedule impacts and risks
  • Identify schedule risks, reliability concerns, and critical or longest path activities
  • Analyze in-progress schedules against future planned construction schedules
  • Identify schedule elements not typically included in baseline schedules (e.g., utilities, environmental or seasonal constraints, procurements)
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly schedule analysis and progress reports
  • Provide recommendations to improve schedule reliability and performance
  • Support schedule reviews, audits, and leadership briefings as directed
