Moog Advanced Programs (AP) West, a division of Moog Space and Defense, is seeking a Senior Satellite Flight Software Integration and Test Engineer to join our dynamic Space Vehicles team in Arvada, Colorado. This role is pivotal in the development and testing of satellite buses, Orbital Maneuvering Vehicles (OMVs), and space tugs, among other advanced aerospace systems. The Space Vehicles team is a collaborative group of seasoned professionals and emerging talent, dedicated to tackling complex challenges in the aerospace sector. As a Senior Engineer, you will focus primarily on Flight Hardware and Software Integration and Test Engineering. Your responsibilities will include developing a comprehensive understanding of the avionics hardware and software that constitute a space vehicle's avionics/electrical system. You will be tasked with writing detailed test procedures and plans, creating scripts for automated testing, and executing these tests to ensure that the assembled space vehicle meets customer specifications. Additionally, you will review requirements and design documents, interface with System Engineers and Software Developers, and install and configure Flight Hardware and Software. The Arvada location offers a vibrant work environment, situated in the scenic foothills of the front range, just a short drive from downtown Golden and Arvada.
