About The Position

The SAP OTC & SCM Functional Specialist at Abbott will provide technical expertise and direction in the development and support of application systems and programming requirements. This role involves overseeing and contributing to the development and implementation of cost-effective solutions for various projects and system changes, specifically focusing on Order to Cash (OTC) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a relevant discipline.
• 8+ years of combined experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in the full life-cycle of SAP (ECC) projects.
• Experience in ECC-OTC/SCM relevant modules and associated master data.
• Knowledge of Pricing, Intercompany Billing, Shipping, Logistics, Transportation, Order Fulfillment, and FSCM.
• Experience in EDI integrations with warehouses, TPLs, and TPMs.
• Knowledge of SAP SD integration with other SAP Modules like FI, MM, and PP.
• Knowledge of Inventory and Warehouse Management processes including HU management.
• Experience in facilitating resolution of cross-team integrated topics.
• Experience in integrating SAP-ECC with non-SAP systems.

Nice To Haves

• S/4 HANA implementation experience.
• Experience managing individual assignments within large SAP implementations.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management processes integration with ECC.

Responsibilities

• Partner with functional groups to assess business needs and document clear requirements.
• Conduct investigations and collaborate with technical subject matter experts to provide technical advice on new technologies.
• Develop alternative technical solutions and advise on options, risks, costs, and benefits.
• Serve as an SAP functional configuration expert to develop, test, and implement new solutions.
• Configure applicable SAP modules to design optimal solutions.
• Evaluate SAP notes, new functionality, and upcoming releases for assigned modules.
• Recommend operational improvements or devise new approaches to meet business objectives.
• Lead the development of standards and procedures and communicate findings through presentations and documentation.
