About The Position

We are looking for an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expertise in SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) implementations with focus on foreign trade, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, optimizing trade processes, and providing tailored solutions for our clients. This role requires a good understanding of global trade regulations, customs compliance, and SAP GTS functionalities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with SAP GTS international trade and customs management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP GTS implementation and support incl. configuring and customizing SAP GTS for compliance, customs management, and product classifications.
• Good knowledge of global trade regulations, customs procedures, trade compliance requirements, and risk management.
• Experience in reading and analyzing SAP code to independently find problem-solving approaches.
• Proven ability to work in SAP GTS projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Travel willingness

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of country-specific trade compliance laws a plus.

Responsibilities

• SAP GTS Implementation: Design and support of the end-to-end implementation and global rollouts of SAP GTS, including blueprinting, customizing, testing, and user training.
• SAP GTS Conversion: Process analysis and functionality comparison (GTS 11 to GTSe4H, implementation strategy, guidance regarding conversion approach, project management.)
• Process Optimization: Analyze clients' global trade processes and recommend enhancements to streamline compliance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Integration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP GTS with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) and third-party systems.
• Client Support: Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and resolve issues related to SAP GTS functionality.
• Documentation & Training: Develop comprehensive documentation, user manuals, and training materials for end-users.
• Develop and maintain the GTS knowledge management.
• Contribute to the growth of knowledge and expertise including mentorship of less experienced consultants.
