Position Summary: This role supports senior configuration management activities for SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling environments. The individual will lead SAP FI CO configuration efforts, manage baseline controls, and support public sector financial processes with minimal supervision while ensuring audit compliance and system integrity.
Requirements
- Five years of relevant professional experience
- Five years of experience with SAP FI and CO in ECC or S 4HANA
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting, cost centers, internal orders, and profit centers
- Experience with public sector financial management including funds management and budgetary accounting
- Ability to work independently under general intent guidance
- Agile certification from Scrum Alliance or SAFe
- Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role.
- this position requires onsite work in Columbus, Ohio Tuesday through Thursday for the duration of the contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide configuration baseline control for SAP FI and CO modules across system lifecycles
- Translate financial business requirements into functional designs and configuration solutions
- Lead configuration changes, impact analysis, and system issue resolution
- Support Configuration Control Boards through review and documentation of changes
- Maintain configuration control records and technical documentation
- Collaborate with ABAP developers, security teams, and finance stakeholders
- Troubleshoot posting errors, reconciliations, and financial control issues
- Support internal and external audits, including public sector financial requirements
