About The Position

The Senior SAP Business Process Owner - EWM is responsible for the configuration, design, implementation, and maintenance of the GOJO SAP ERP System, focusing on specific modules. This role involves working closely with Business Process owners and Subject Matter Experts to ensure high-quality, sustainable solutions are designed within the SAP ERP environment. The position requires hands-on configuration expertise and project leadership for critical issue resolution across multiple distribution centers in Northeast Ohio.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field, or 7+ years of experience in a high-paced regulated global manufacturing environment in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years SAP implementation or direct support with hands-on configuration experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP Security authorizations, role definition, and audit.
  • Experience with Sales and Distribution (SD) including APO Global Available to Promise (GATP) or S/4 AATP.
  • Experience with SAP Quality Management.
  • Experience with SAP IBP.
  • Experience with SAP development or integration technologies.
  • Very good communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform systems analysis, design, configuration, and programming tasks related to enhancements, interfaces, data conversion, and special reporting requirements.
  • Advise users on the applicability of various alternatives to meet specified requirements, including SAP standard functionality and reporting.
  • Provide overall direction in the implementation of new SAP modules and releases, as well as related third-party software tools.
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams to define and design complex processes and procedures for SAP configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Develop functional standards, best practice guidelines, solution diagrams, and documentation standards for ERP solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and documentation/change control processes across the Applications Organization.
  • Design and assist users in the documentation of business processes and procedures, and develop training materials.
  • Maintain work plans, track effort and progress for small to medium scale projects, and provide timely status updates.
  • Act as a liaison to software vendors and other users, participating in software/functional user groups.
  • Supervise contract consultants, programmers, and part-time clerical assistance as needed.
  • Design test plans, execute test scenarios, validate test data, and document test results.
  • Monitor systems performance and respond to priority incidents impacting production or processing of invoices.
  • Resolve business issues by collaborating with various groups within and outside the company.
