About The Position

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Senior SAP BRIM Functional Analyst to support solution delivery activities within the UBOS program. This role focuses on SAP S/4HANA BRIM and FICA functional design, configuration, testing, and post-go-live support in a complex enterprise environment. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex IT initiatives across software development, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and enterprise toolsets while ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience completing at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • 5+ years of experience as a SAP BRIM Functional Analyst with CI and/or FICA expertise.
  • Strong understanding of FICA processes, including payments, dunning, collections, interest calculation, open item management, and CI/GL integration.
  • Familiarity with BRF+, event framework, and FICA-related enhancements.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using the Microsoft Azure DevOps Testing module.
  • SAP S/4HANA BRIM certifications (BR230 and/or BR234)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, information systems, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and professional experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years of SAP BRIM and FICA functional experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on SAP BRIM experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise SAP initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver functional designs and system configurations for SAP BRIM and FICA, including payments, dunning, collections, account determination, and CI/GL integrations.
  • Lead functional testing efforts by reviewing test scripts, validating results, and resolving defects across BRIM and FICA processes.
  • Support SAP BRIM architects with configuration activities such as business partner and contract account setup, correspondence configuration, and event framework updates.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for BRIM and FICA processes to support scenario design and test data creation.
  • Collaborate with data teams on BRIM and FICA data mapping, translation rules, cross-reference maintenance, and open item conversions.
  • Contribute to cutover planning, readiness activities, and FICA-related migration tasks.
  • Maintain Azure DevOps work items, documentation, and progress tracking for BRIM and FICA deliverables.
  • Provide post-go-live support for FICA processes, including monitoring payment interfaces, dunning runs, settlement jobs, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with technical teams on enhancements, BRF+ rules, correspondence forms, and integrations with external payment providers.
  • Support audit and compliance activities by ensuring FICA configurations align with financial controls and reporting requirements.
  • Fully document all work products, including functional and technical designs, diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact analyses, lessons learned, and best practices, following Commission-provided templates and standards.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead and participate in project team activities supporting enterprise system initiatives.
  • Work independently to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities.
  • Adhere to all Commission standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize various software and technology tools to perform job duties.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
