About The Position

The Salesforce Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing medium to large sized technology implementation projects in a program with high to medium/high complexity. This role involves collaborating with customer contacts and managing cross-functional project team members to facilitate project delivery. The Project Manager will work with onshore, near shore, and offshore team members to successfully deliver project commitments in tandem with vendor milestones and dependencies.

Requirements

  • Senior project management level experience
  • Hands on experience with at least two of the following technologies/project tracks: Salesforce implementation experience, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Multi-vendor program implementation
  • Eight to Ten years work experience, six years consulting in the project management capacity

  • Preferred experience in Salesforce Revenue Cloud and CPQ

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customer contacts and multi vendor environment managing cross-functional customer project team members to facilitate project delivery
  • Plan and manage the execution of the project's activities and resources in partnership with technical leads, vendors and business partners
  • Delegate project tasks to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Lead project teams through scoping definition and ensure all execution efforts align to project goals
  • Lead the establishment of measurable and achievable critical success factors for the project
  • Control planning and execution to ensure that cost, time, and quality goals are met
  • Successfully manage the handoff from Sales to Project delivery, initiating project kickoff and planning activities
  • Develop and maintain project plans and related project artifacts
  • Create long and short-term plans, including setting milestone targets and adhering to deadlines
  • Manage scope throughout the engagement, identify potential deviations from scope and clearly communicate decisions
  • Manage against the approved budget and recommend course correction as necessary
  • Conduct periodic stakeholder meetings to ensure status clarity and clear expectations
  • Communicate with executives, project sponsors to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Plan for and identify potential risks performing qualitative and quantitative risk analysis and risk mitigation strategies
  • Adhere to the Apps Associates project management methodology
  • Support the Sales pipeline through the review of Sales artifacts to provide feedback on scope and resources for new business opportunities
  • Possesses the ability to turn troubled projects around when and if needed
