About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Marketing Cloud solutions for a key client engagement. As the first role of its kind within P10, this position will play a foundational role in shaping our Salesforce Marketing Cloud capability, establishing best practices, and delivering high-impact, data-driven marketing solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep technical and strategic expertise across the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem, with a strong preference for experience in the health and pharmaceutical sectors, where compliance, personalization, and customer engagement are critical. You will report to the Managing Partner, Solutions P10 brings together a team of diverse, remote-only seasoned professionals to deliver exceptional value for our clients. Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a consulting or client-facing role, with experience leading implementations and managing stakeholder relationships
  • Proven expertise across core Marketing Cloud modules (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder)
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement Consultant certification
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, segmentation, and integrations (APIs, SQL, data extensions)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, CASL) is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate in a new, evolving capability within a growing organization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industries strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations, including architecture, solution design, and deployment
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for Marketing Cloud across client engagements and internal initiatives
  • Design and build complex, scalable customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
  • Develop and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push, etc.) with a focus on personalization and performance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and marketing requirements into technical solutions
  • Establish data models, segmentation strategies, and integrations with CRM and external data sources
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards, particularly within health/pharma contexts
  • Provide strategic guidance on marketing technology, campaign optimization, and customer engagement best practices
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and continuously improve platform performance and campaign effectiveness
