A federal-focused technology solutions firm is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support a major government client. This is a fully onsite role with a strong preference for candidates in the DMV region. About the Role The Senior Salesforce Developer will lead complex Salesforce initiatives, manage platform enhancements, oversee integrations, and contribute to solution architecture for a large federal program.

  • Manage all aspects of Salesforce (Salesforce Lightning platform) including complex configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and third-party integrations
  • Participate in application design, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Lead or support testing, training, documentation, and release activities
  • Analyze system requirements, data flow, and alternative solution methods
  • Provide operational support, enhancements, and bug fixes aligned with best practices
  • Maintain SOP compliance and accurate ticketing for incidents, requests, and changes
  • Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Deliver technical assistance and end-user support
  • Collaborate with development teams and conduct code reviews to ensure architectural alignment
  • Perform research and troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Salesforce Certified Application Architect
  • 12+ years of IT experience
  • 5+ years of experience with system integration, ICD design, Scrum, and RPA
  • 8+ years of Salesforce Lightning platform customization (Lightning Components, Apex, declarative tools such as Process Builder, Flows, Visual Workflow, and Lightning App Builder)
  • 5+ years implementing Service Cloud features (Omni-Channel, Live Agent, Case Management)
  • Experience with GitLab and Salesforce development tools (CLI, VS Code)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability in solution design
  • Experience supporting federal government clients
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud and FedRAMP environments
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Existing or prior federal clearance, especially DHS, is a significant plus
