As the Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems. We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to design and implement solutions in Salesforce and integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems. This position will be full-time, long-term contract, and hybrid in Trenton, NJ.

  • Design and implement Salesforce solutions and integrations with external systems
  • Liaise with program offices to evaluate user requests and document functional and non-functional requirements
  • Architect, develop, and deploy solutions that meet desired specifications
  • Document application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements
  • Identify and evaluate vendor/partner software and integration strategies
  • Develop and code solutions to specification
  • Define system landscapes and identify gaps between current and desired end-states
  • Lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients
  • Identify and implement appropriate testing strategies
  • Execute steps required to deploy/implement application solutions
  • Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related technical field
  • (7)+ years of experience in application development activities including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation with emphasis on Salesforce, Force.com, object-oriented programming, and Client Server technologies
  • Experience in the Salesforce declarative environment
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration experience
  • Salesforce Developer or Admin track certifications
  • Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical people
  • Ability to think outside of the box and design innovative solutions
  • Agile development experience
  • Experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, Javascript
  • Experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API
