Work You'll Do Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST and SOAP APIs Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements and provide technical guidance on Salesforce best practices Create and maintain system documentation, including solution design, technical specifications, and test plans Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs related to Salesforce applications and integrations Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and functionalities, and evaluate their applicability to our organization's needs Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices The Team Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes - is designed for impact. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required
  • 4+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, OmniStudio, and Salesforce APIs
  • Ability to travel 20-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.) and security protocols (OAuth, SAML).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Salesforce certified (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect) strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting federal agencies in the Washington, D.C. area.
