About The Position

Virtual is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to assist with the design, development, testing, and deployment of customized solutions within our Salesforce platform (primarily Microsoft and Salesforce with some additional client applications). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations and configuration. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and energized team of talented professionals. Preference for local candidates to work out of our Wakefield, MA office 3 days/week. We're looking for someone who has the ability to: Learn and digest information quickly Work in a team environment, communicate well, and execute with excellence Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, distil high-level information into details, and reconcile conflicts Assess the impact of new requirements on our custom Salesforce platform and all upstream/downstream applications, systems, and processes Innovate and improve upon existing processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Business Administration or related technical field
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Aura, Javascript, HTML, CSS and the Salesforce Data Model.
  • 3+ years of Salesforce administrator experience.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred.
  • Proficiency with Custom and External Objects, declarative tools such as Flow and Custom Reports.
  • Proficiency with Experience Cloud and external facing communities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle/prioritize simultaneous requests.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Microsoft Graph API and general integration methods
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev Ops) and version control (Git)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure (Functions, Queues, Resource Groups, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of complex Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, triggers, platform events and more.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party tools and platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, and/or middleware tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Support QA efforts including documentation and testing.
  • Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, changes and troubleshooting steps.
