About The Position

This Sales role is key in leading the business into the potential of its future state – as a core member of the agile Sales team, you will have excellent senior management exposure within LSEG and will have great autonomy in selling Analytics solutions, with a particular focus on Loan Pricing Corporation’s product suite. As part of the Sales Team, you will seek new prospects and opportunities with new and existing customers. Collaborating with account management will be instrumental in identifying customer needs so that we can focus on solution selling. Your market feedback will be critical in shaping the business strategy as we look to identify thematic challenges our customers are facing, so that we can develop and deliver scalable solutions. Proposition Sales Specialists are responsible for executing LSEG`s strategy for growth and market differentiation. They work with and provide market insight to our Product Management and Account Management teams to support the execution of this strategy. Loan Pricing Corporation (LPC) provides Primary and Secondary Loan market intelligence, analytics, and data feeds. The LPC product suite is listed below: LoanConnector – Broadly Syndicated and Middle Market Loan web analytics, news, league tables and proprietary research that includes Dealscan, the largest database of Loan Terms and Conditions along with end of day consensus pricing. BDC Collateral – Business Development Company (Public and Private) analytics with a complete Schedule of Investments , New Investees, Originations and Disposals. News, features, Asset Search, Overlap Analysis and Research from LPC as well as third parties. Direct Lending Module -- a private credit aggregator tool that brings transparency to the opaque and expanding US private credit market. Add-on to LoanConnector or BDC Collateral LPC Collateral – CLO Asset analytics that includes daily priced CLO portfolios, NAV, MV and Par Coverage, Overlap, Tranche compare, Trustee Reports, Compliance/Performance Tests, along with Asset Holdings and Trade History.

Requirements

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and selling software solutions to financial institutions (asset managers, banks, broker dealers, hedge funds)
Working knowledge of analytics is a plus
Demonstrated expertise with some of the following: risk management or portfolio management analytics, valuation, structured finance, fixed income trading platforms, RMBS, CLOs
Proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint
Proven communicator comfortable running discussions and building relationships with various stakeholders at financial institutions
Some travel required 25%
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Delivery of revenue goals through sales growth, cross selling, and commercial policy developments
Work closely with analytics solutions, product management, and marketing teams to ensure market intelligence, competitor analysis and market trends / conditions are captured and monitored
Lead responsibility for crafting product, relationship, and marketing strategies as well as commercial policies.
Proactively build and run your sales pipeline to ensure quarterly and annual revenue attainment
Creation and execution of quarterly business plans
Execution of go to market plans as well as increasing brand and product awareness through events, webinars, outreach
