About The Position

This position consists of, but not limited to, being responsible for sales of cement primarily in Dallas-Fort Worth along with the surrounding areas. They will establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers as well as assist customers in understanding, selection, and use of materials. Effectively administer customer quotations, order entry, sales reports, backlogs, collection of accounts receivable, and overall customer experience. Work closely with sales audit personnel regarding invoicing, credit and re-bills and month end reporting. Work closely with distribution channels and the customers to ensure product availability. The Sales Representative will work with other Sales Representatives and the Sales Manager to ensure maximum market penetration at best possible price. Additionally, the Sales Representative will work on market development strategies. This position will be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in business, construction management or related discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Solid knowledge of construction materials and their application/use and specifications preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Independent and self-disciplined, with ability to work proactively and productively.
  • Experience with Customer Relation Management (CRM) software a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau) and ability to learn new applications.

  • Develop market strategies.
