About The Position

As a Senior Sales & Partner Manager (m/w/d) Data AI and HPC Services, you will report to the Head of Sales & Presales AI & Business Computing in Central Europe. You will work closely with the Big Data Presales team and Industry Account Managers in both national and international environments. You will be responsible for leading and managing the proposal team (with internal and external partners) as well as the customer and partner relationship during the presales and sales phases with the goal of generating and winning profitable orders. Your performance will be measured against KPIs for order intake and revenue. You will manage dedicated proposal teams (Bid teams) and guide an opportunity from initial identification and qualification to contract award. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for a range of external and internal stakeholders, involved at every stage of the proposal generation process. Your focus will be on managing the entire sales engagement and aligning customer needs with the best possible value proposition from Eviden. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the AI Services and HPC Services (science + computing) ecosystem and will work closely with established cloud and AI partners to define joint go-to-market strategies aimed at generating new business. Additionally, you will have a keen sense of the AI market and activate new partnerships that align with the BDS AI Services strategy.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in sales, business development, or pre-sales in information technology (project, solution, and/or product business) specifically in the Big Data, Edge & AI area dealing with top decision-makers (C-Level) and a robust industry and partner network.
  • Completed university degree (technical or business-related) or comparable training.
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style, perseverance, and closing strength.
  • Strong customer orientation and high self-initiative.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel, primarily within Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for order intake and co-responsibility for revenue in Big Data Infrastructure and Edge & AI platform business, with a focus on computer vision technologies.
  • Expansion of the existing Big Data and AI platform business and identification and acquisition of Big Data and AI platform customers in the industrial sector.
  • Collaboration and coordination with global Big Data units on portfolio, sales campaigns, marketing, events, pre-sales activities, international customers, etc., as well as reporting and controlling.
  • Establishment and development of operational and strategic partnerships with technology partners to enhance competitive positioning and maintain a comprehensive partner network.
  • Intensive customer care, engagement, and acquisition for the entire Big Data and Edge & AI, especially at upper and top customer levels.
  • Building and expanding personally reliable business relationships with decision-makers and top decision-makers of customers.
  • Responsibility for proposal presentations, negotiations, and final contract negotiations with customers, especially for large contracts.
  • Initiation and responsibility for marketing and communication activities towards customers.
