About The Position

Hotel Phoenix is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven individual to serve as Senior Sales Manager for our luxury, full-service hotel. This hybrid role is responsible for generating profitable revenue while maintaining compliance with brand standards, ownership objectives, and financial performance expectations. The Senior Sales Manager is accountable for proactive business development, strategic account management, and delivering a consistent luxury-level client experience that supports the long-term success of Hotel Phoenix.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hotel sales experience in full-service and luxury properties.
  • Proven, results-driven sales performance with a history of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, group, and transient sales segments.
  • Proficiency in Delphi (required).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HMS.
  • Experience working within branded luxury hotels.
  • Established local or regional business relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business, Marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable sales results through proactive prospecting, account management, and closing strategies.
  • Meet or exceed assigned room revenue and total sales goals while protecting ADR and rate integrity.
  • Solicit new and repeat business through sales calls, networking, site inspections, and client presentations.
  • Respond to RFPs, negotiate contracts, and secure business in compliance with brand standards and ownership guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and account information in Delphi and the hotel’s HMS.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, ensuring a seamless client experience from inquiry through post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Events, Catering, Revenue Management, and Finance to ensure contract fulfillment and service excellence.
  • Participate in sales meetings, forecast reviews, and strategy sessions.
  • Represent Hotel Phoenix professionally at industry events and networking functions.
  • Comply with all brand standards, hotel SOPs, ownership policies, and ethical guidelines.
