About The Position

Working in partnership with the Director of OES Passenger Car Sales for North America, the Senior Sales Manager is responsible for delivering sales, profit, and growth targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction across North American Passenger Car OES accounts. This role includes proactively identifying and cultivating new revenue opportunities and developing strategic actions to support top line growth in remanufacturing and other channels. The position also involves leading a team of 2–3 direct reports and working closely with cross functional partners to ensure customer expectations are met and all related performance metrics are achieved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 10 years of OEM and/or OES customer facing sales, program or project management experience, including commercial negotiations required.
  • Extensive OES and aftermarket knowledge is desired. Background in automotive industry and technologies is necessary. Sales and marketing experience is required.
  • Experience in a global matrix organization.
  • Excellent analytical, financial, commercial, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required and SAP skills are desired.
  • Ability to travel ~30%.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Plan forecasts and sales; monitor turnover and implement margin improvement initiatives; and implement corrective measures.
  • Quantify customer opportunities and grow sales pipeline with new opportunities.
  • Support annual budget and planning phases, and develop and apply pricing strategies.
  • Act as secondary escalation point for technical, commercial, and logistical issues.
  • Champion the voice of the customer; implement projects to improve relationships and grow business by developing customer-specific solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of 2–3 direct reports; align roles with sales plan, and interface with multiple management and working-level customer contacts.
  • Capture customer needs, competitor activities, market analysis and communicate to team.
  • Manage overall account performance including Commercial, Delivery, Quality, and new business development.
