MarketStar is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead and drive the strategic growth of our expanding Airbnb team in North America. In this pivotal role, you will provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and mentorship to a team of sales representatives, ensuring the achievement of ambitious revenue targets and client satisfaction. You will be instrumental in shaping the team's culture, optimizing sales processes, and fostering a high-performance environment.

Requirements

  • Proven senior sales track record with a history of driving performance to exceed goals within a related sales environment.
  • Significant experience leading and developing high-performing sales representative teams.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, tailored for client and senior level internal audiences.
  • Experience building strong, strategic client relationships with Airbnb, managing complex conflict, and leading by example.
  • Track record of coaching and developing senior level sales representatives to reach target attainment within a sales team.
  • Ability to adapt and effectively multi-task in a dynamic, strategically driven Airbnb-focused environment.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex Airbnb sales data and drive informed strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent client engagement skills to build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with Airbnb.
  • Effective senior level sales skills to support business development efforts and achieve strategic sales targets within the Airbnb market.
  • Advanced familiarity with technology and sales tools to enhance strategic sales operations and client satisfaction; advanced knowledge of Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive your Airbnb sales team to meet and exceed sales quotas and client expectations through strategic pipeline management processes.
  • Coach and develop senior level Airbnb sales representatives to succeed in hitting daily, weekly, and monthly input and output targets.
  • Collaborate and align with other senior sales leaders within the assigned program, sharing best practices and solving complex problems collectively.
  • Utilize advanced data management skills to analyze Airbnb sales performance and ensure data accuracy, driving strategic decisions.
  • Assess current Airbnb team processes, procedures, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement, and build/execute strategic plans to implement.
  • Maintain strong, strategic client relationships with Airbnb through proactive engagement and effective communication.
  • Ensure strict adherence to risk management and compliance standards in all Airbnb sales activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and capitalize on new strategic business opportunities and support senior level sales efforts.
