About The Position

We are excited to offer an $8,000 sign-on bonus to join our dynamic Sales team. As a Senior Sales Executive 2 – Fiber, you’ll drive revenue growth by building and expanding customer relationships and delivering solutions that support clients’ business priorities. You’ll manage a defined territory or book of business, identify new opportunities, and lead sales engagements from discovery through close, using a consultative approach to create long-term customer value. Join our expanding AT&T Platinum sales team and unlock exceptional earning potential! Our compensation package features a competitive base salary plus a performance-based commission structure. At 100% of your sales target, annual earnings typically range from $145,800 to $182,200. Commission earnings are capped at 500% of target, allowing for an annual earning potential of $365,000 or more for high achievers. When not in the field, you are expected to collaborate with your team from your assigned office location, if available. No relocation is offered. Requirements

  • Consultative selling skills: Ability to uncover needs, position solutions, handle objections, and close.
  • Complex deal management: Experience managing multi-step, solution-based sales cycles, including pricing and strategic plans.
  • Customer-facing communication: Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills for executive-level conversations.
  • Market and competitive awareness: Ability to monitor trends/competition and translate insights into sales opportunities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capability: Comfortable using data to prioritize accounts, shape solutions, and drive decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • B2B sales experience: Proven success managing and closing complex business sales (new and existing) while consistently delivering against targets.
  • Account/relationship leadership: Demonstrated ability to build lasting customer relationships and influence stakeholders across the buying group.
  • Proposal/RFP experience: Background preparing proposals, presentations, and/or RFP responses that align solutions to customer priorities.
  • Telecom/technology solution familiarity: Understanding of communications/technology solutions and the ability to match products to technical and business requirements.
  • Collaboration and leadership: Ability to work cross-functionally (including with partners such as design/engineering) and as needed, mentor or guide peers.

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue and exceed targets: Own a higher-than-average quota/territory by generating new opportunities and expanding/retaining existing accounts.
  • Build and expand client relationships: Identify, develop, and maintain long-term customer relationships using a consultative approach to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Run complex sales cycles end-to-end: Lead discovery, solutioning, pricing strategy, proposals, and presentations for large, complex opportunities with light supervision.
  • Engage customers in the field and remotely: Meet customers on-site and connect by phone, email, and virtual meetings to progress opportunities and close business.
  • Develop winning proposals and responses: Create customer-ready proposals and, as needed, develop and submit RFP responses aligned to customer needs and AT&T capabilities.
  • Support account health and issue resolution: Partner to help resolve disputes or account discrepancies (e.g., billing, installation, service issues) to protect the customer relationship.
