About the role We're looking for a Senior Sales Executive who's closed $200K+ B2B deals, thrives in complex sales environments, and knows how to earn trust in executive conversations where credibility and insight matter more than pitch volume. This is a senior, quota-carrying role reporting directly to our CEO.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years selling B2B services at digital product agencies, technology consultancies, or software engineering firms
  • Proven track record closing $200K+ deals in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Comfortable with longer sales cycles involving discovery, solution design, executive alignment, and negotiation
  • Experience selling to startups, scale-ups, and enterprises
  • Strong commercial judgment on pricing, scope, risk, and deal structure
  • Can discuss technology at a business level (you don't need to code, but you need to guide solution conversations intelligently)
  • Excellent communicator who earns trust with senior executives
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable for results
  • Proficient with CRM systems to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and report performance

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, with primary focus on new client acquisition
  • Manage a pipeline where approximately 50-70% of opportunities are inbound, while consistently generating and closing outbound-sourced opportunities to meet and exceed quota
  • Partner with Solutions Architects to design and present tailored proposals
  • Negotiate MSAs and SOWs, coordinating with Ops and Legal
  • Stay engaged post-sale for strong handoffs and expansion opportunities
  • Provide market feedback to leadership on positioning and strategy
  • Represent Cheesecake Labs at industry events and executive forums
