Requirements

  • Proven successful track record as a Senior Sales Engineer or similar in project sales, capable of handling complex stakeholder environments and lengthy sales processes.
  • Experience in the wind industry, ideally from a technology/service provider, wind turbine manufacturer, or wind asset operator, with a focus on technical sales support and business development.
  • Condition monitoring experience within the wind energy sector is required but CMS experience in other renewables, power, utilities or oil and gas will also be considered.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between internal technical experts and the customer's technical team.
  • Provide technical expertise and solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and gather customer feedback.
  • Act as Voice of Customer providing feedback to our developers, product management to ensure that the value proposition remains competitive.
  • Manage the technical aspects of the sales cycle, from lead generation to post-sales support.
  • Regularly report on technical sales activities and outcomes.
