About The Position

Talitrix is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Development Representative to drive pipeline growth and support revenue generation within the government and criminal justice market. This is a highly impactful individual contributor role focused on generating, qualifying, and advancing SaaS opportunities. The ideal candidate has strong Salesforce experience and a proven ability to engage government decision-makers, uncover business needs, and create highly qualified sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or Inside Sales
  • Proven track record of generating and qualifying SaaS sales opportunities
  • Strong experience using Salesforce for pipeline management and activity tracking
  • Experience prospecting into government, public sector, or criminal justice organizations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and results-driven

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling GovTech or public safety technology
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Familiarity with electronic monitoring, GPS tracking, or justice technology
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective government and criminal justice agency customers
  • Execute outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, conferences, and other channels
  • Qualify active buying interest by uncovering business needs, challenges, and timelines
  • Clearly articulate Talitrix’s SaaS value proposition to prospective customers
  • Generate and advance highly qualified, sales-ready opportunities
  • Schedule and support product demonstrations for qualified prospects
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in Salesforce
  • Follow up on inbound leads, referrals, and marketing-generated opportunities
  • Consistently meet activity quotas and pipeline generation goals
