Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in a business development role.
  • College degree in Business, Insurance, or related field.
  • P&C and/or Life/Accident Health license or desire to become licensed.
  • Enjoys working with people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented, start-up environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience creating and executing sales campaigns and other top of funnel business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Create warm leads for the sales team via a combination of phone, email, video, social media, and inbound handoffs.
  • Review metrics, prioritize personalized outreach, and generate new business opportunities while providing feedback to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Foster strategic partnerships whenever possible to help drive pipeline.
  • Collaborate with sales, service, and marketing to strategize on how to make the biggest impact on the sales pipeline.
  • Contribute to process improvements and leverage data to prioritize outreach and workflow.
  • Refine marketing and sales messaging by listening to common prospect questions and testing new approaches.
  • Engage with a balance of warm and cold prospects and quickly adapt to their understanding of insurance and Hub's value proposition.
  • Engage with business executives to encourage them to meet with a HUB.
  • Produce or complete applications for insurance, serving as the liaison between the business executive and the Hub experts.
