As a Sales Development Senior Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving growth in the fast-paced Data Center and Energy Management sectors. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a high-performing sales team while also targeting your own strategic accounts. Your leadership will shape and execute go-to-market strategies that strengthen Danfoss' position in the market. By championing energy-efficient, sustainable solutions, you'll build trusted partnerships with key customers and stakeholders—delivering impact for both business and planet.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or leadership roles in the data center, energy management, or related industries.
  • Proven leadership experience in building and guiding successful sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of drives, electrification systems, energy storage, and power conversion technologies.
  • Strong commercial and technical acumen with a passion for sustainability and innovation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% within the region and globally as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a regional sales teams focused on the Energy and Electrification verticals (including Data Centers, Electrification, Marine etc.), including H₂ & Power-to-X, Energy Storage Systems, and Ultra High Power Charging.
  • Build the North American vertical strategy in alignment with the Division's global strategy, ensuring regional execution and business impact.
  • Strengthen Danfoss' position with Data Center & Energy Management OEMs, system integrators, and project developers.
  • Provide strategic sales support and coaching to ensure the team can articulate and deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Act as a senior representative of Danfoss in industry events, trade shows, and customer forums to enhance visibility and influence.
